#HeadlineTherapy Europe Blows Up Russian Soyuz Rocket Launch Site in French Guiana

Thank You to Ivan Khomenko and United24Media for the Headline

In truth when I read this headline I thought World War Three had started. But no it’s a reallocation to a French Satellite Company Maia Space of contracts for sending satellites into space. The Russians have been excluded from working any further on these projects with the European Space Agency(ESA) because of their invasion of Ukraine.

However,it has all ended in a gentlemany fashion with any key Russian parts being extracted by the Russians and the structure which consisted of a 52 meter mobile service tower that had been part of the Soyuz launch infrastructure being demolished in a controlled explosion.

Kindly the other bits like the assembly and testing complex, railway lines ,liquid oxygen storage facilities and fueling system will be transferred to MaiaSpace. The plan is to reuse up to 80% of the existing infrastructure.

Seems cooperation and working together with the aim of pursuing a scientific goal still happens and will keep happening and all the noise about “ending civilisation’s” is just so much hot air.
