I’ve often wondered how pregnant women forget the pain,
Baby arrives healthy and happy and she forgets what felt at moments quite insane,
I’ve asked many mothers and they repeat with glee,
It all disappeared when I saw my baby,
Well for me my younger self I probably saw too much,
Made mistakes and felt out of touch,
My parents taught me right from wrong,
And I miss them now their gone,
The fact remains I did fine ,
Bad memories fade given time,
All about me is what I am and seems quite nifty,
I’m doing fine and I’ve ditched the shifty,
The people who never wanted to help,
And those that made me want to yelp,
Everyone has to deal with that,
But when your older you don’t give a gnat,
You can swat those critters away,
And smile because it’s a beautiful day.
Namaste and Thank You for Reading.🙏
