If you could relive one day from your past, which day would it be and why?
Today I relived days with someone I wanted to relive days with,
Some memories are no longer there the brain a mysterious labyrinth,
Still perhaps it was what I wanted to remember ,
A life well lived , now succumbing to surrender,
My knowledge is patchy but between us my partner and I ,
We remembered times and there was a glint in her eye,
Their were laughs and smiles and little jokes,
Most in the present and a few fun pokes,
I shared with the Nurse things she hadn’t known,
All those achievements she had done on her own,
And then it was time for us to go home,
It was good to know she wasn’t alone.
