The Future

What are you most excited about for the future?

The future can be taken away in a moment. It doesn’t exist ,in fact it becomes our present and past so quickly, that sometimes we don’t even acknowledge it.

Pause for that thought and your future has passed.

That isn’t to say dreaming about the future is bad, dreams are fine, and can help us through the day.But they are dreams and yes they are worth getting excited about and enjoying them for what they are.Dreams.

The future is rather harsher, it’s ephemeral and will pass no matter what we do and we deal with it as best we can.It can be good, bad or extremely ugly.

In the time it’s taken for me to write this, it’s been and gone and I can never get it back. Was it of value?Yes.Was I excited? Well, yes I get excited writing. Was it predictable? No I came to a conclusion in the present that surprised me and I hadn’t predicted or planned.

Namaste and Thank You for Reading.

  2. True, but we still love to chase the future and forget to live the present!

  3. So true… the future is just a fleeting idea — it slips into the present and fades into the past before we even realize it. A reminder to live fully in each moment.

  4. A beautiful reminder wrapped in humble honesty. The future truly is the biggest scam artist—sells us hope, vanishes before the receipt prints.
Your words? They lived. They mattered. And yes, even fleeting moments can leave lasting ripples.
You wrote, you felt, and that made it timeless—for now.
    Namaste and thank you.
