Words fail me.

Daily writing prompt
Where can you reduce clutter in your life?

I could pick that sock up off the floor

But finding it’s pair would be such a bore

I could tidy all my fluffy sweaters

Just to prove my worth to all my betters

I could wash the dishes in the kitchen sink

That would make him indoors think

Those letters that have remained unopened

They might not be bills but a regular stipend

I don’t know where I put those cloths I bought

But to dust is something I really ought

And then there’s the garden

And the birds need feeding

Oh hell what’s that noise I hear

Think it’s bin day I fear

Another job that came to nought

The paper and plastic I forgot to sort.

Oh yet another cluttered filled day

Well words now fail me, I’ve nothing left to say.

Namaste and Thank You for Reading.🙏

  1. JB, this reads like productivity tried, sighed and went back to bed.
Every chore lined up politely, then silently escaped.
At least the clutter got documented, which honestly feels like progress. 😀😀
