Depends

Daily writing prompt
Are you more of a night or morning person?

Whether I am a night or morning person depends on what I have to do. If you rest to be prepared you can be either.

Namaste and Thank you for reading.

Death and Protein

Daily writing prompt
What are your feelings about eating meat?

In 1789 , Antoine Fourcroy recognized three distinct varieties of animal proteins, albumin, fibrin and gelatin.

Should we eat them or should we stick to plant proteins, perhaps one day , we won’t have a choice as animal protein will become so expensive.

Science has broken down meat to it’s component amino acids and much research continues to find a protein source to feed the World and protect the environment.

Less living animals will be the result, though of course it will mean less animals dying, for they cannot die if they’ve never been born.

Remote Controls

Daily writing prompt
What technology would you be better off without, why?

Do you remember actually having to get up and change channels. It was really quite nice. No Alexa, no funny rubber buttons and no scanning endless options. Plus you do at least 10 steps to get closer to your daily quota.

Those were the days.

Namaste and Thank You for Reading.🙏

Getting out of bed this morning

Daily writing prompt
What’s the hardest decision you’ve ever had to make? Why?

This morning I made it yet again. It’s nice and possibly the start was a bit shaky and reluctant, but I did it.

I need my sleep!

Daily writing prompt
If you didn’t need sleep, what would you do with all the extra time?

I need my sleep and everyone who is fortunate enough to be able to sleep enjoys it too. Extra time is a misnomer, time is a constant and cannot be added to.

What it made extra is human perception.

Namaste and Thank You for reading.🙏

What is a peeve?

Daily writing prompt
Name your top three pet peeves.

Apparently “a peeve” is a Scottish slang word for having a lot to drink ,going on a bender or getting blootered, although I’ve not heard that myself, but it’s alternative meaning and the one that the daily writing prompt refers to is something mildly irritating or that causes you a minor inconvenience.

I mean I think it’s healthy to express an outlet of irritation , so my top three peevish moments at the moment are.

Packaging on products that are just designed to be impossible to open. Cardboard, plastic , glue and flaps that rip rather than open. Hidden pieces of tape or sellotape that are impossible to lift with your fingernail and you have to go and get a scissors which inevitably are blunt.

Zips on dresses that I can’t do up myself and the hubby is in the shower and I have to wait until he comes out to get the zip pulled up and then he acts as if he’s doing me such a big favour and I have to wait until he dries himself thoroughly so he can get a good grip of the zip. Irritating!

The Sky TV remote, the buttons are funny and rubbery and never seem to work first time.

Hope you enjoyed, Namaste and Thank you for reading. 🙏
