When I’m stuck with a prompt, I like to refer to a definition and a break can mean so many things.
So I’ll go with one of the verb meanings.
“separate or cause to separate into pieces as a result of a blow , shock or strain.”

News and the people in it can be hysterical, unfortunately not in a funny way.
It is provocative nonsense and is exhausting for anyone really trying to establish the truth.
So my first Executive Order if I was elected President of America would be to ban Hysterical Headlines
