Yes, I remember this prompt from last year and for me the answer will always be Sir Tim Berners- Lee who invented what we now know today as the Internet .He has continued to promote his original thought ,the Internet’s role is to improve communication of ideas.
Unfortunately , it also enabled the worse aspects of the human psyche to have access to an audience. This has had some tragic consequences and the Law has intervened in trying to control the Dantes Inferno of content. The lesson is perhaps that it is uncontrollable and that every individual has a responsibility to look and learn and be tolerant and respect each other. Only we can do that , outside forces cannot.
