Sad for those who have lost their jobs, but in a performance review a McDonalds restaurant near Yeovil has been closed permanently and staff offered the chance to apply at other nearby McDonalds.
The closure was presumably because it was unprofitable , but in Mc Donalds speak it no longer served the community ie. no one went there. There could be many reasons, but it does seem strange that a relatively low cost restaurant is not capable of sustaining it’s presence.
As I say, sad for those who it was their place of work and was convenient to get to. I wish them success in locating alternative employment should they so wish.
