This good local good news competed with a headline about Tim Berners-Lee identifying that with consumer and state support everyone should own their own data. The pond won through as I’m sure Sir Tim has a lot of support anyway, but both stories are equally important.
The story of a Parish Council deciding to rectify a pond to improve it and be able to hold a Christmas Event this year is heartwarming.
The budget is £2500 plus extra should additional work be required. The work is going to be done by the local groundworks team and when needed to assist the local fishing club.
