Passion

What are you passionate about?

I suppose passion makes the World go around

A solution that a lot of people have found,

To howl and giggle with pure joy,

Just like a dog  ragging with his favourite toy

A project or a meeting to discuss a plot

Or perhaps a quest for the ideal pot

The perfect meal for your antique plate,

Renewable energy to replace your grate

The options to be passionate are endless

And with common interest you’ll never be

friendless

To share passions is such a thrill

Everyone should  have their fill.

All Seasons are Wonderful

What is your favorite season of year? Why?

Winter winds its chilly whisper

Spring leaps into a fertile miasma

Summer glows with pure delight

Then autumn arrives bringing short night

All the seasons mean a lot

So be grateful for what we’ve got.

An incident

I have to give a shout out to my partner in life who yesterday showed his empathy, caring and kindness and my dog took, who definitely showed his caring side.

He was walking our dog and a woman with a collie was walking towards him playing with his ball. Our dog is a notorious ball thief so he kept his distance.

The woman, however, became unsteady on her feet ,sat down on the wet grass and put herself in the recovery position. The collie was upset but defensive.

My partner got closer to the woman and asked her if she was OK,there was no answer. The two dogs began to interact with each other in a positive manner but the collie still would not let any human approach.Though he seemed happy to have another dog around.

Another person arrived and went into a house to ask for someone to ring for an ambulance. It turned out the lady in the house was a nurse ,so she came out and by that time the woman on the ground had regained her consciousness and was sitting up.

The lady who had laid down on the ground, insisted that she was fine and got up and started to walk away.

Bless my partner, he knew the area of town where the lady lived and followed her and her dog  at a distance to make sure she got home safely.

A shout out to him for being so caring in a extremely difficult situation.

My shell

My shell

My bell

An old song long past

Interrupts my need to retreat

Some sixties pop group

A delicious music loop

Breaks the pattern

And gives me a lantern

To walk through this door

And approach  life’s lore.

Marilyn Gee

If you had to change your name, what would your new name be?

If I had to change my name,

I think I’d go insane,

I’m fond of my nomenclature,

Anything else would be a bore,

But with life’s many twists and turns,

The threat of violence and nasty burns

In fear of the gangsters control,

I’d have to find a hidey hole,

And reinvent myself to dodge the fire,

Of evil wishes and the wicked man’s ire,

To  give up the thing that makes me me

And go by the name of Marilyn Gee.

Namaste .Thank you for reading.

Mammoth

Describe your dream chocolate bar.

Eight foot  tall and One Foot wide.Wrapped in pink  mottled effect matt paper, with the words

                               Mammoth

written in big black letters in  Calibri font with a list of the Chocolate ‘s  impeccable quality ingredients on the back along with its high  Cocoa content.

This is a chocolate bar we could all proudly and perhaps a bit awkwardly  walk into a room while making a significant entrance and turning heads and  at the same time giving  the  message that we are sharers ( it is a bar far too long and wide  for one person to eat).

The chocolate itself would be  wrapped in recyclable environmentally friendly baking paper with the capability of  reusing   to make all sorts of chocolate delights.

There would be a barcode on the side which once scanned would give delightful chocolate recipes and entries to various competitions.

Mammoth surely is the Chocolate to make an impression with and to share. What could be better?
