Followed with Devotion

Do you practice religion?

I had to define religion before perhaps understanding how I felt about practicing it.

Although I don’t follow a traditional religious path I am definitely devoted to life and humanity, so religion or indeed faith are not bad words to me.

However , Religion and Blind Faith have been used to cause a lot of ill in the World,so perhaps per se  the words are not evil, but  they have generated  evil actions through  centuries and who knows perhaps since the big bang

Do I practice Religion? Yes I do, but it is my own faith and conviction. It is based on trying to do the best in any given situation and it is not easy.

Onwards,upwards and sideways.

  1. That reflection holds a quiet strength—faith not worn, but lived. When conviction rises from within rather than being inherited, it becomes a steadier guide. May the path stay true—onwards, upwards… and sideways too, where the most unexpected truths often wait.

  2. That was beautifully expressed, GB 🌼
Such faith—rooted in compassion and thoughtful action—feels more soulful than any sermon.
If that’s not true devotion, then maybe language needs to catch up with the heart.
Onwards, upwards… and may sideways always lead to gentle wonder. 🌟
