We Travel to Escape from What?

You’re going on a cross-country trip. Airplane, train, bus , car or bike?

Well , Travel can be an education, but it can also be an escape. It’s sad that the human race have many avenues to escape. Travel, Drugs , Constant Entertainment on multiple devices, constant gossip about other people.

Supposed you just stayed still and dealt with what is around you. You see someone suffering , you help them. The downward economy wants to make you feel useless, without any power. The elite in their Ivory Towers look down on those who are trying to get by. The Elite don’t just get by, they have everything, they look after their own and they’re success is based on using others.

Yes, escape would be nice , but it’s not the answer. The journey is to make things better and for that you just don’t need any of these:

Airplane– Polluter of the Environment, Airports use up valuable land and ruin the environment and for Who?

Train– Overcrowded and Expensive if you live in the UK.

Bus – Quite sociable , but diesel engines are horrendous polluters and bus routes are inadequate for a lot of people

Bike – Don’t get me started on bikes, it’s not just a bike anymore , it’s a fashion statement, it’s a health monitor, it’s a purveyor of energy drink and hydration requirements. You stay at home and practice on your Peleton Software, so you can do a circuitous route on Country roads, avoiding potholes and eating your energy bar at your midway Cafe stop.

So before you travel, think what is around you and see if you can make it better.

Wow, just had a thought , is car a bad word?

Namaste and Thank You for Reading.

  1. Travel or stay? Tough call.
One pollutes, one costs, one cramps, one trends. Maybe I’ll just walk… to my fridge. πŸ˜„πŸ˜„
