Yes, he can. One example, I worked as a copywriter years ago in a big advertising agency in Munich for a premium automotive brand (Audi).
Sometimes our client would just shout a single word or barely a sentence about a theme we should write about for an online B2B site we did for their dealers in Germany.
So based on fragments, I wrote an 800 words piece about how we could attract more women to our Audi dealers in Germany. They loved it, “don’t change a word” and published it.
Of course three days later the same client would tell you what an incompetent and ignorant fool you are.
Welcome working in an advertising agency. I was told if you can work years under these highly volatile conditions, you can do anything after you leave. And so it came to be. Learning to make something out of nothing.

That sounds very much the true writers life.Thank you for sharing.I’ve got to admit having no pressure to “perform”,I can let my thoughts fly and it’s a nice feeling.Following your curiousness doesn’t fit with Corporate aims very often

Absolutely!
It’s called a deadline.
Nothing turns into a 1,000-word masterpiece of chaos faster than the threat of a late submission.
Add some last-minute panic, a dash of word salad, and voilà—an award-winning post about the ‘metaphysical intricacies of a sandwich.’ Just don’t ask what’s in the sandwich!

Haha. Only if the sandwich is stuffed with profound thoughts and a side of humor!
